Description
Learning characters can already be a challenge, wouldn’t it be simpler to learn those two-character combinations?
Here’s the second edition of our Traditional Bigrams poster that can help you learn ANOTHER 322 of the most commonly written Bigrams! Only want the first 322? Go to the first Traditional Bigrams Poster here.
This is the traditional character version of the poster. Just learning simplified characters? Go the simplified character version here.
Here’s how it works: As anyone who has studied Chinese knows, any given single Chinese character nearly always has multiple meanings, often with completely unrelated definitions. Take the word “經” (jing1). Its definition includes ‘sacred book’, ‘to pass through’, ‘to undergo’ etc.
Instead of “經” (jing1), you will be able to learn the more commonly found bigram “已經” (yi3jing1) which has one meaning only: already. Learning these bigrams first can be a great tool in understanding the general meaning of the individual character.
Perfect for home, office, and classroom learning!
